Election posters!

Every time there is an election, we all see the ads encouraging everyone to vote. Well this time, YOU will be creating a poster that does just that. You will be making a poster that must convince someone who might otherwise stay at home on election day to get out and cast their vote.

We won't get political with these. You can't pick a side. These posters must encourage EVERYONE to vote. Here are the specs:

• Must be 11x17 size. Can be vertical or horizontal.
• Must be in color. No black-and-white posters.
• Must be created in Adobe Illustrator.
• Can include photographs from Photoshop.
• Must contain some sort of message encouraging voting.
• Can contain SOME clip-art, but not ONLY clip-art. If you want things in your poster, be prepared to draw them using Illustrator. Let's all learn about LIVE TRACE! (trust me, you'll love it!)

We will work on these in class today as well as class on Monday. If you need Wednesday's class as well, it can probably be arranged. I'm expecting to see some creative ideas on how you plan to get people to vote using your posters!! Put on those thinking caps!!
